Hi Everyone:
Hey, I know this is coming out of "nowhere" but I have been thinking about it for some time. I am going to stop blogging for a time.
This blogsite has been posting daily for almost FOUR YEARS... and I need a break. As painful as it is to say this, I need a break.
I need a break for two reasons, both which are important.
ONE: I have a number of major writing projects that I am behind on, and which need as much time as I can give them. I recently wrote on the need for pruning, and I have come to the conclusion that as much as I like blogging, right now, other writing projects are more crucial for LCI and I need to give them my best time.
TWO: While I always have ideas of things on which to write, I find myself having to work harder at this and to stay fresh. I need a break for this as well so I can give you my best thoughts instead of second best.
Originally I was thinking of going up to the end of May and taking the summer off. Once I had made that decision, it hit me that I can stop at any time and that the sooner I stop, the more energy I have for those other writing projects.
So it made sense to just stop now, even though it feels abrupt.
RIGHT NOW, I am planning to pick back up this fall. For those of you who have a Feedblitz subscription, you don't have to do anything (I think). You'll be notified when a new post goes up (whenever that is).
